Christmas Day!

Christmas morning Steve and I got up and opened up gifts from each other. Then we headed over the Elliot and Katie's for a wonderful breakfast.

Then we exchanged gifts. Thank you so much Karen for the Carlile sign and the towels. We hung up the sign in our house and it looks great I have already received complements for it. Then we spent the rest of the day just hanging out with the family playing games and watching movies. I love Christmas Day because it is okay to be lazy.

Then on the 26th Steve and I drove up to his parents house to stay the night. There was crazy snow in Heber so we weren't able to see them on Christmas day. We did a gift exchange there and again just hung out, had fun, and played games.

The Week of Christmas

On Monday, the 22nd Steve and I went to Elliot and Katie's house and we were able to see my parents. We had a great Mexican dinner and then chatted with the fam until pretty late.

On Tuesday, the 23rd I got to go the the temple with my dad in the morning and then Steve and I headed up to the Carlile Christmas party. It was a lot of fun.

On Christmas Eve we got together again at Elliot and Katie's and we did the Nativity Scene a family tradition. Aubrey and JJ were Mary and Joseph.

As you can see JJ really like the gifts that the wisemen brough baby Jesus.

Then we had a wonderful Ham dinner together that night. Then it was time to go home so that Santa could come to visit.

Ginger Bread Houses

On December 20th Steve and I got together with the Bagley's and the Buell's to make gingerbread houses.

Back of the houses do you like the S on our house representing Steve and Summer that was Steve's idea.

Cash & Dash & Wisdom Teeth

On December 10 Steve and I got up super early for the Cash & Dash at Costco. Steve wanted to have a chance to scope out what he would want to purchace. So in five min he was able to pick out the new star wars triligy and a surround sound system for our new television. Then after all the excitement Steve dropped me off to the dentist to get my wisdom teeth removed.

If you think I was swollen in these pictures you should have seen me on Friday I think my cheeks were double this sight. It was not a pretty sight. I also got huge bruises on my face that three weeks later you can still see but they are at least really tiny now. I also got really sick from the pain medication and my teeth would not stop bleeding for hours after they were taken out. So what I learned from this is that people should take their wisdom teeth out at a younger age. I think our bodies handle things better when we are older. 25 is too old to take them out!

The next day Heather and Aubrey came over to visit Steve and me and to see how I was doing. Steve took the day off of work since I was so sick. Aubrey was being so cute and friendly and even let Steve hold her and play with her. She is definitely warming up to Uncle Steve and Me.

Then when they were leaving she gave Steve and me a big hug and here is the evidence of the hug.

Nu Skin Christmas Party!

On December 9th Steve and I went to the Nu Skin Christmas party. It was pretty fun especially since Steve won the Platinum Award which is the award for the best project of the year! And then his name was picked for the Cash and Dash which means that at 8 am Steve would run through costco in 5 min and pick out items there that were just under $250 and if he could do it he would keep the prizes that he picked out.

New Television and BYU game

It's been almost a month since my last post so I guess it is time to update on the Holiday season. On December 6th Steve and I went to the Energy Solutions Arena and watch BYU cream Utah State. Well maybe not cream them but they certainly did win.

On December 3rd we received a brand new television. It is a plasma 50" and it is super sweet!

Christmas Decorating & Wisdom Teeth

On Saturday Steve's brother Rob came over and we decorated for Christmas. We don't have a ton of decorations because we are newly weds but we have a Christmas Tree. I will have to take pictures tonight when the tree is lit so the pictures look better.

So this morning Steve and I went to the dentist, the good news is that we don't have any cavities. The bad news is that I have to remove my wisdom teeth because there is no room for my two bottom teeth. And because we are removing the bottom I have to remove the top teeth because they will just keep growing without the bottom teeth there and hit my bottom gums and the side of my mouth. So I have an appointment for December 10th and I am super nervous about it. But at least I'll be better by Christmas.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was wonderful Steve and I got up and went to my sister Cindy's house for breakfast it was so good she even made pumpkin pancakes with chocolate chips. Then we went up to Farmington because that is where Steve's uncle Todd and aunt Arlene live and we had dinner it was really good and we had a really fun relaxed day. And then we went to heber and spent time at his parents house and played the wii.
Then on Friday we went up to Heber that afternoon and had a second Thanksgiving dinner that Steve's mom Kathy made. Then we set up there Christmas tree it was super fun because Steve's Kimber and I both have the same love for decorating Christmas Trees.

The Apartment

Hi There!
I know that the title for this post isn't very original, but I thought that I would keep it simple for my debut on the blog. I told Summer that we should post some pictures of our apartment so everyone can see where we're living. Turns out that wasn't such a great idea since I've ended up being the one to get them on here. But the timing is good to post this since we've just finished moving in after getting married three months ago. So with that introduction, check out the pics below.

Here's a picture of the living room/dining room/kitchen looking in from the front door.

Here's the living room looking back to the front door.

This is our small dining room looking from the living room.
A few shots of the kitchen.

I'm sure you will all enjoy the obligatory bathroom pics.
