Newman's Homecoming!

On July 12th my mission President, President Newman and his wife and kids had their homecoming. It was so good to see them. I only served with them for the last 6 months of my mission but they were incredible! I only got to see them for a few minutes because there were so many people there to see them and Steve had to be back at meetings, but I was so glad that Steve got to meet them. And then a few weeks later my mission companion had a bridal shower so I got to see Sister Newman again and catch up. We are all so glad you are home! Hopefully you don't mind Sister Newman but I stole this picture from your facebook page.

The Fourth & Brooke's Baby Blessing!

We had a fun 4th of July weekend. I especially loved that we got the third off of work because the fourth was on a Saturday. On the 3rd we went up to Steve's parents for a 4th bbq. Unfortunately I am really bad about ever bringing my camera and taking pictures, so all of these pictures I stole from my sister Heather. Then on the fourth we had a breakfast at Cindy's that really hit the spot. She made Sweedish pancakes, a family favorite, even the in-laws are realizing it is the best breakfast food ever! Then we had a party at Heather's.

Here is Steve and Bryan playing with their neice and nephew

And here is Esther holding Aubrey, I am holding JJ, and Katie holding Brooke. That evening Steve and I were so wiped out that we didn't even stay up for the fireworks we just went to bed. But we made up for it because on the 24th we watched fireworks. And last weekend we went to a rodeo and saw fireworks, so it's probably okay that I missed it.

Then on Sunday, July 5th we went to Brooke's baby blessing. Jeff gave a really Sweet blessing. And isn't Brooke just beautiful?

Here is the Buell family I think Brooke is a little tuckered out.

These are the men that participated in the blessing, minus my husband Steve who had to be at church meetings.

Grandpa and Grandma Bagley with the sleeping beauty.

Brooke's aunts excluding Karen who we wish we could see more often. Esther, Cindy, me holding Brooke, Katie and Tammy.

And of course we needed to take a picture with uncle Steve since he missed the previous pictures, but by then they were both out of their church clothes.

Then me holding Brooke, I love this little girl she is so sweet. I have loved her since the moment I saw her for the first time.

Happy Birthday to Me!

About a month and a half ago it was my 26th birthday. My work lets you get your birthday off , and since my birthday was on a Friday Steve and I decided to do a trip. We didn't want to go super far because we didn't want to buy plane tickets. So we were deciding between Rexburg, Idaho where we both went to BYU Idaho or St. George. Since the weather is not so hot in Idaho we decided to do that instead. We drove up after work on Thursday and headed up to Idaho Falls. I was actually pretty excited to do a road trip because it has been awhile, and we used to do road trips all the time as a family. We got to Idaho Falls around nine and checked in, we then walked around the falls and temple it was really pretty

Then on June 26th it was my B-day we got up and had breakfast at the hotel's resturant. I had Eggs Benedict and it was super good. Then we headed up to Rexburg. We walked around campus and the first building we went into I think is called the Spori, it had an art gallery and this was the first statue I saw. It melted my heart because this is the Winter Quarters statue, which is where I served my mission and it is about a couple burrying their child. I used to show this statue all the time to people when they came into the visitor and tell them about it.

Here are some pictures of us walking around the gardens on campus they are so beautiful!

And you can't forget about Mr. Viking the school mascot!

Here is the track that Steve would run on every day!

The gym, I went to one basketball game before they quit doing sports, but I did go every week to the devotionals in here.

Afterwards we went and did a session in the temple. It is so beautiful, in fact the set up on the inside is very similar to the winter quarters temple.

Then on Saturday the 27th we stayed in Idaho Falls. Steve went golfing and I went Birthday shopping at the mall. Then we went and watched Transformers at the movie theater. It was pretty good considering I had never seen the first movie, so I was a little confused. We also went to the Idaho Falls visitor center since the temple was closed for cleaning. I was pretty bummed about that because I wanted to see the Idaho Falls Temple too. I hear it is beautiful on the inside. The good thing is that Steven's brother Rob is getting married their in two months so I am hoping to do a session there the day before he gets married, but we will see.

Here are the amazing Idaho Falls, falls.

Then on Sunday Steve and I took pictures around Idaho Falls and went home it was a fun Birthday Trip!

Isn't this an absolutely gorgeous view of the temple?
